Built to Know.
Driven to Deliver.
Meet the people who transform how organizations understand, create, and apply knowledge to achieve lasting results.
Chris
Chris is a passionate technology leader with over 19 years of experience spanning cloud architecture, data engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and enterprise software delivery. He has spent nearly two decades at the intersection of complex business problems and cutting-edge technology — not as an observer, but as the engineer, architect, and strategist driving outcomes.
Across Fortune 500 enterprises, high-growth startups, and government agencies, Chris has architected and delivered solutions that move organizations from data-poor to data-rich, from reactive to predictive, and from fragile monoliths to resilient, cloud-native platforms. He has led large, cross-functional engineering teams through transformations that stick — because he insists on building the knowledge and capability of the people around him, not just the software.
His depth in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is matched by his command of modern data engineering — from MPP warehouses and real-time streaming architectures to AI-powered knowledge systems and LLM-based products. He has designed ETL/ELT pipelines at petabyte scale, stood up ML platforms from scratch, and guided executives on AI strategy when the hype cycle made clarity nearly impossible.
What sets Chris apart is his rare combination of hands-on technical mastery and executive-level strategic thinking. He speaks both languages fluently — equally comfortable whiteboarding a Kafka streaming topology with engineers as he is presenting an AI investment thesis to a board. He translates between the possible and the strategic, helping organizations understand not just what they can build, but what they should build, and why.
Epistemeia is the distillation of everything Chris has learned leading technology through nineteen years of hard-won lessons: that knowledge — rigorous, structured, transferable knowledge — is the most durable competitive advantage an organization can hold. He founded Epistemeia to bring that philosophy to organizations that are ready to stop guessing and start knowing.
Our Founding Principles
Every engagement, every recommendation, every line of code is shaped by three commitments we've never compromised on.
Intellectual Rigor
We ask the hard questions others avoid. We demand honest answers — of ourselves first, our clients second. Every recommendation traces back to evidence, logic, and first principles. We don't guess; we know.
Radical Transparency
You always know exactly where you stand and why. No hidden agendas, no glossed-over problems, no surprises at invoice time. We show our work — at every step, in plain language — so you can make informed decisions.
Client Ownership
Your success belongs to you — not us. We build capability, not dependency. Every engagement ends with your team more skilled, more confident, and more capable than when we arrived. We measure our success by how little you need us tomorrow.
The highest form of consulting is knowledge transfer — leaving every client smarter, more capable, and more confident than when we arrived. — Chris · Founder, Epistemeia
